36c2afb11424fdaf1083e9b49b3fad21“Present is living with your feet firmly grounded in reality, pale and uncertain as it may seem.

Present is choosing to believe that your own life is worth investing deeply in, instead of waiting for some rare miracle or fairytale.

Present means we understand that the here and now is sacred, sacramental, threaded through with divinity even in its plainness. Especially in its plainness.”

~ Shauna Niequist, Present Over Perfect

Your writing is so moving and beautiful, I can only imagine what speaking it would be like for the listeners. Sometimes when I dread and procrastinate, then say ok it is just time to do it, and not expect perfection, it turns out really good. I have all confidence in you.

  5. Just Julie says:

Thank you for your kind words, Shari and Peggy. It always does my heart good to sign in and see a comment by both of you. xoxo
