Wednesday’s Word — Edition 153

Our peonies are blooming — singing lalalala it seems to me. I would put my camp chair right down there by them and sit gazing for a couple of hours, if my neighbors weren’t so close. 🙂

    just planted some Russian sage and the bees are very happy buzzing around. Learned Bishop Robert Barron has been assigned to Minnesota diocese. Lucky you. Even if someone isn’t Catholic they can appreciate his talks and shows. He is a great theologian and often quoted by many of different faiths.

    Hi Nancy! I have read one of Robert Barron’s books and love him. I did see he was moving from Santa Barbara to southern Minnesota. That diocese will be blessed to have him, I agree. How wonderful to plant something and see it benefit the bees right away. God be with you Nancy…

    My flowers/gardens are screaming for me to WEED THEM! It’s been too humid to do much gardening. Thankfully we have had enough rain and I haven’t had to do any watering, but the weeds…oh my…

    Yes, weeds have an irritating way about them, Valerie. It has been such a humid summer here too. I hate very few things, but I do hate humidity. It makes me feel like I’m living in limbo… until more bearable weather comes. I am thinking of you today, friend. xoxo
