Giving Thanks
November 24, 2010 | My Jottings
How wonderful it is to have reason to give thanks! How comforting it is to have Someone to thank!
For my family, for my friends, for my Savior, I say thank you, Lord…..
From our home to yours….Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Julie.
You are someone I am so thankful for, Kay. What a gift you have been to me over the years. Barnakay. That’s Barnabas mixed with Kay. 😀
Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours.
We don’t celebrate it out here. It’s spring for one thing. lol We aren’t usually harvesting anything yet ~ except the wheat, except the wheat, except the wheat. So none of my boys will be home for Christmas.
Thank you Ganeida! I am so sorry your boys won’t be home for Christmas! When will you see them next? God bless you and yours….
As the time of Christ-mas passes and I see the weather changing, I too am changing, with the days of time.
As a believer I realize that the rainbow will never stop showing us the past, and now to look forward to the future.
There is so much talk about the Ice caps melting yet each winter the talk seems to become invisible almost into dust.
Not too long ago, I realized that we are to praise the simple fact that there is a melting of the caps.
I also realize that the caps melting are in His plans as it is closer to the flame of His destruction than most of us wish to acknowledge.
It is the fellowship of the believers that gives me the true Thanks during this time of year. I could sit down and make an endless list of all that I am thankful for, but few times do I really give thanks to Him as I should,
As you said, how comforting it is to have someone to give thanks to.
Blessings Sis
Love you Larry
In the Breath of the Holies we will find that He too had wings like Julie’s cardinals 🙂
Thank you for your thoughts, Lar. I’m not sure I’m going to give praise for the melting ice caps anytime soon, but I will heartily praise the One who has everything in control. Love you all….
