Let me explain how this happened…. I am working in an office for the second time in my life and still doing a lousy job. I’ve always known I wasn’t a detail person, but I figured I could suck it up and do the job. It hasn’t gone real well, in all truthfulness. I just don’t think about all the details that need to be taken care of before the next day can happen, and there’s not much I can do about that. It is what it is. I’ve been getting a little discouraged about not being excellent at my job, and because it seems like everyone wants “detail people” around, and no matter how hard I try, it will never be me. So I wondered what other big picture people might be thinking — what’s the upside of seeing the forest and not the trees?

So that’s when I happened on your site. And I liked what I found, and continued to explore a little bit, and I will probably be back! =-)

By the way, fortunately for everyone involved, this has been a learning experience. I’m leaving the office in a couple of months to return to riding horses (in summer) and snowmobiles (in winter) in the mountains for a living. My big picture-ness makes me an excellent tour guide, and I know it! =-)

So that’s the story…..
