Animals may adjust quickly but meanwhile their meltdowns can be something else. My cats are sooo happy to have me home again each day they have been turning themselves inside out. It is a little wearing….

PS Happy Anniversary, you 2 lovebirds. 😀

That was hysterical Kay! We loved it. I used to watch the Flintstones when I was a little girl – a blast from the past. Thank you for the smiles today….

Thank you Ember. This bed gives us both better sleep than we ever “dreamed” of. Every morning I wake up and think, “Thank you for this new bed!” xxoo

I hope you and Michael had a happy day on your anniversary. Maybe the house is still new enough that eating in is kind of eating out . . .

That dog sure looks barmy – or I guess, in your case, Balmy.

Blessings on your day!

Your comment is the first thing I’ve read this morning after getting up and making breakfasts, Kay. It was a wonderful way to start the day, thinking about Peggy the Pug – would she be a slight bit pudgy and petulant? You made me laugh today, and thank you for your good wishes. Hello Alan! xxoo

I’m trying to convince Alan that it would be good for us to have a little dog in our home. (Being an empty-nester, looking for a substitute baby and all that … !). Now normally, all things being equal, we would by choice choose a medium size dog, a Golden Retriever would be our ideal. However, in view of our physical limitations, we would need to have a dog that needed the smallest amount of exercise. And when I ‘googled’ these requirements, I came up with ten breeds that were suitable. The only one that Alan found remotely interesting was ….. a pug!!! So, of course, me being the sort of person who always jumps the gun, I’ve given ‘our new puppy’ her name already – Peggy. Peggy may always remain a ‘virtual’ dog, but it’s nice to dream, isn’t it? Also, when the weather is good, I might decide to take our virtual dog out for a walk. Even the local grocery store won’t object to a virtual dog, though I’d have to train her to walk off-lead or else I might get some funny looks dragging an empty collar and lead with me.
(Even my own husband is laughing at me now!)
We hope you have a lovely day tomorrow – just spend the day doing what you want to do, not what needs to be done!
Love to you both .. xxoo
