What a beautiful soul! I, too, wish to be “Kelly.” I truly believe that God gives us people and moments in our lives that carry us along when we need help shouldering the load. Of course, He Himself shoulders the load, but He ministers through others to us and through us to others. I think eternity will be full of beautiful surprises…the Kellys of this world may be mostly unknown now, but in Heaven their names will be in lights! You made me cry…in a good way!

What a wonderful story. Something that struck me especially was how your situation began to change once you told someone your situation and let her see how you felt. I wonder how often we struggle on, coping bravely with the impossible, desperately wishing someone would help, unwittingly keeping loving-kindness at arm’s length.
I too, in the really difficult times, found people who (quietly and without fuss) went a million miles out of their way to see we were all right, and took care of us. Love shines through. xxx

This is one of the most compelling accounts I have ever read. My neck tensed, my jaw clenched, I sighed, I cried and I prayed as if these events were happening as I read them. I want to be like Kelly.
