That feeling of panic as we were screaming her name is something I will never forget. All I could think of was the ocean! When we found her she was totally oblivious because she was with my youngest son and having so much fun. We were each sending our prayers of thanks to our Heavenly Father.

I lost my kids briefly once each but it was very brief (in a store and art event). I didn’t even have time to contemplate it would be more than that. I can only imagine the anxiety you experienced especially as time went by. Thank God it turned out alright. Such an ordeal for you and your husband Michael.

Thank you for your comments, Valerie. I couldn’t agree with you more. Yes, God is always good, but it’s His standard of good, and the Bible is full of examples of how His good was painful and perplexing for His people. I’m grateful He’s trustworthy and can see the whole story.
