Well I believe this could be someone’s way of introducing you to the story of “Sir Galahad and the Garlic”. Michael is certainly a knight in shining armor. He wears the breastplate of righteousness with humble dignity. He wields the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit with supreme dexterity. And he walks in the shoes of the Gospel of Peace with yielded confidence. His steps are sure and his hand is strong. So I think Michael is really Sir Galahad in disguise and someone is trying to expose him. Why he would keep his identity a secret, one can only guess. Was his nap peaceful or did he toss and turn and wake with a strong desire for spaghetti? I personally think you have some royalty living in your house, Julie. Keep your eyes peeled for dragons, but don’t be afraid. Your deliverance is at hand!

Oh my gosh, Savannah. You are hysterical! I can’t wait to read this to Uncle Michael. 🙂 Thank you for the giggles.

They are bright orange but have the ability to blend with their surroundings. Plus, they only move when you aren’t looking. Thus, you never see them. Well, these bugs have seven legs, one and a half heads and tinker-bell wings. Their favorite thing to do is to steal “cloves”. This refers to the clove off the tropical evergreen tree, the clove of garlic, even the occasional cigarette. (You might notice alright that they are good friends with the Borrowers.) The then transport these cloves via flying and some fairy dust (they borrowed it from Tinker Bell when they had their wings fitted)to a place where they plan to have the MuskRats meet them. It’s a sort of trade-off.
Anyways, I’m sure Uncle Michael is highly trusted by these Clovers and, since he wasn’t looking, the scheduled drop off just so happened to be on your bed.
It’s simple, really.
