Hi Ganeida! Your number one is my new motto. Sigh. Thanks for the recommendations too. And somehow you always make me smile with whatever you write – even if it’s about the number 13.

2.M.O.R.S.E, Frost, Taggart [the Brists have a thing for these one name shows] ~ um Taggart is *very* gritty.

3. I prefer odd numbers ~ especially 13. Everything changes at 13.

I use olive oil too, Taun. I would love the recipe for the peach mango salsa! Sounds delicious with the chicken! Can’t wait for your list….:)

Curt (at 17 yrs old) taught me how to fry taco shells. To this day, tacos is the only meal he will prepare. We have modified them a bit to help make them a little more healthy (he will consume ~ no joke about 12 tacos in one sitting he loves them so much). We usually use chicken now, and will fry the tortillas in olive oil (instead of corn oil). Every now and again we will have old fashioned ground beef, but mostly chicken. Goes great with peach/mango salsa! Yum, yum! I will list my odd number tomorrow!

I didn’t know that about Foyle’s War! And tea at Buckingham Palace Garden?? Sounds divine. But not as divine as in your own garden….that’s what I’m praying for. 😉

I hope and pray you get your chance at the peaceful blue kitchen.

I don’t want to cook any more either.

I went to Buckingham Palace to look at the State Rooms. We were allowed to convert our tickets to one year passes for no extra cost. So next year – let’s go halves on yours cos mine will be free :0) Tea in Buckingham Palace Garden next summer?

I think you could beat anyone you wanted to at WWF. 🙂

Will you send a couple samples of the lighter paint so I can see what you mean? I’ll put it up on the post too.

Your yard looks great and I can picture it next year.

How wonderful to learn how to knit at a young age! A friend of mine told me she learned at a young age and knitted when she was upset or nervous. When she didn’t have yarn, she used thick string and two pencils for yarn and needles!

It is classic, just like blue and white is. That color — dating back to the 17th century when they discovered a way to make that color paint using the byproducts of silver smelting — is what people with money had in their homes for hundreds of years. The clearer and brighter the blue, the more expensive it was.

I would like to see you do something even a little lighter than the picture to have more contrast between it and the Delft, so your collection really stands out.

2. I am really bad at WWF. Perhaps I just don’t get it.

3. We just had six cords of wood delivered, which will hopefully keep us warm most of the winter. Now it all has to be carefully stacked, which is a huge undertaking.

4. After three solid weeks of work, our yard is sort of coming together. You can’t tell by looking at it, but we’ve hauled at least 10 truckloads of branches, saplings, woodchips, and other refuse to the dump. It will look much better next summer.

5. I told my daughters that if they helped me finish the planting in the yard today, I would take them to the yarn store, let them pick something out, and teach them how to knit.

That’s it for me!
