I would have passed this children's Bible up because of the illustrations if it had been left to me, but thankfully it was recommended to me, and it's truly worth having. I no longer obsess over the hair and the beards in the drawings, thank God. I can imagine, knowing you, you might do that at first. We could have a support group together until you get over it. :D

Julie: having the botanical name I checked with my Dearest who has a degree in horticulture & he says this is a a very rare eculypt. The silvery blue leaves indicate it is hardy & salt tolerant. The rounded paired leaves are definitely unusual but Dearest says it is obviously very hardy & would survive well in extreme weather conditions. Interesting. Learn something new every day. Thank you. ?

I love the bathroom floral piece!!!

And I just looked at that children’s bible in a church bookstore a couple weeks ago. After hearing your review, I might go look at it again and consider it for my Little Guy’s birthday in March. You know how he loves his Bibles!!!

Julie: I adore the new look; very lovely. I am also particularly fond of blue & white china so you now know which decoration I loved best. One question; I am curious about your eculyptus. The stem with leaves looks very like one of our wattles but I don’t know a eculypt with round leaves. They are always long & narrow & hang down to conserve water & energy in our heat. Can you give me any more information? Yeah, I know; curiosity killed the cat. Luckily I’m not a cat! ?
