I absolutely love what you said, Nancy. I see my husband in his three daughters too…very comforting thought. God bless you friend… xoxo

I look at my children and they are part of me and my husband so he is here in a way too. Life is waiting for what is to come. My late husband is always in my thoughts but he would want me to use what time I have to bring joy to others. You certainly do that with your fosters, your family, friends and people in your blog. Happy New Year and be at peace.

Thank you, Ganeida. I pray for Joss this moment. And I thank the Lord for His faithfulness in always drawing us to Himself, as He is with you these days…He is our Light! Much love to you, dear friend. xoxo

Ugh! These things happen.

This time of year is hard ~ we are missing so many: my dad & younger brother, Joss of course; Cait is working until after the new year & Ryan is with his wife’s family & my mum insists on staying in her own home so is alone.

The good thing is Hanukkah & Christmas coincide this year & because I have to be much more intentional about Hanukkah it keeps me very Christ centred. I watched the sun go down like a hawk tonight knowing I had to light the first candle, the first covenant was read from genesis & all the scriptures the Holy Spirit gave me were about light: all good gifts come down from the Father of Lights; I am the light of the world, You are the light…& so I have peace.
