There is a memorial to local police officers near where my husband lies which has a bench I sometimes sit at. It is a beautiful spot. Today’s reading reminds me of the spot. Ecl 11:9 – 12:8

And the dust returns to the earth as it once was,
and the life breath returns to God who gave it.
