Thank you Carolyn…..I was feeling absolutely terrible about my response after reading everyone elses inspiring desires. My immediate answer was “dance well”. Not just dance well. I want to be on “So you think you can dance”…..and win. I also want the body that goes with all of that….however I might choose different costumes.

I wish I could learn to relax and enjoy the moment. I have 9 beautiful grandchildren right here and need to not be so busy and spend more time with them. Grandpa Doc knew how to do that so well and whenever the grandchildren were around he spent time with them, asking them questions and really listening to them. I believe it is one of the ‘gifts from God’.

There are literally thousands of things I could say, but right now I’m going to say “communicate” well. I work with someone who is so incredibly articulate and I have to admit I’m envious of such a talent. It seems the older I get, the less I can communicate or write well. It’s like my brain is atrophying (yikes, I hope that isn’t true).

Well, I’m going to go the other way from Jessica. I wish I could listen well and exercise more patience. I have no problem speaking in public but find myself straining to speak when I should be listening. There is, of course, a much, much longer list, but this always seems to be on my mind!

Only one thing???

Well, love and pray are up there for me too but since that’s the choice of the day I’ll pick something different.

I want to speak publicly well. I can’t articulate myself well to a close friend so I FOR SURE can’t speak well in front of a group. It’s frustrating.

Before I finished reading the post I knew I would fill in the blank with love or pray so I guess we are all of like minds in “comment land”. I think I am making progress in both areas but there is a long, long way to go! I’m thankful for Divine assistance too Sue!
