As always your words mean so much to me. I was drawn to Jesus as a young child and marvel how God answered my little girl prayers. I wasn’t terribly happy as a child and longed for what I called a normal family meaning Mom, Dad and children. My grandparents were wonderful and took their two divorced daughters and children into their home. So thankful for them, but there were lots of problems with a couple of grandchildren. I remember being very lonely at times as I sat alone in the little house next to my grandparents that my grandfather built for us because there weren’t enough beds in their house for all of us. All 8 of us did eat at my grandparents for every meal, so I basically lived in two houses. When my mother would go out on dates which she did frequently, I would run across the yard to sleep on the sofa where my grandmother always welcomed me. I am forever thankful for Russ and our beautiful family, a true answer to prayers!
