After speaking to you today, I’m encouraged to reenter the world of blogging….reading and perhaps writing again.

I, too, think you will love your new phone. Mine has become an additional appendage, which I don’t recommend, but it’s the handiest little thing I’ve ever owned.

Sadly, one of my favorite apps is Turbo Scan, which allows me to photograph documents and email them in pdf form when my other option would be to fax them. I know that there are other ways to achieve this but it’s just so convenient to snap a picture of the paper anywhere, anytime and zip it off.

More inspirationally, a good app is Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. I can’t remember, off hand, if you are a reader of hers but it’s great. It’s $9.99, which I find very expensive for an app but well worth it.

And finally, if I have a say in the words engraved on your tombstone (I will have a say won’t I???), I would say something to the effect of, “Here lies Julie. A woman with the ability to bless my socks off with every word she speaks and sometimes when she just sits in my presence.”

Seriously. You do. It was great to see you today.

Sprightly is a great word! lol Not sure I would have applied it to you as it always makes me think of imps & sprites & I sort of have you more in the wide, meandering, slow flowing, peaceful river slot in my brain. There is something restful about visiting here. {{{Hugs}}}

Alan and I have very old mobile phones – Alan says that they are steam-driven! 🙂
I suppose we are quite the luddites in some ways and although Alan is very technologically minded, we tend to not replace things until absolutely necessary. Although … I must admit to feelings of envy regarding your new iphone. And such a pretty casing!
(By the way, my ringtone is that of the Doctor Who theme tune. It sends delicious shivers down my spine!)

Yay for the iPhone!!! I love mine! I would suggest downloading the Charles Spurgeon Morning and Evening Devotional app… Just search his name and it should come up. It’s wonderful and, surprisingly, free!!

And I think gentle and sprightly suits you and your blog as well.
