When you graduate and move here, I’ll search high and low to find you a puppy just like The Noble Pokey. 🙂

I agree with you, Jessica. The only way Haggis could be any worse is if they told us there were chopped muskrat tails in it too. 🙂

And in the description that I read, it said that it is traditionally served with “a dram.” I’m not much a drinker, but I have to say I think I would need several drams to even be in the same room as that thing! Wow!!!!

WHY? is right!!!!!

Thank you for your comments, Ganeida. I loved the tartan site. We also found Scotland cold and wet, but we still love the wild beauty of it. Come meet us there in September and then we’ll go see Ember in England together. 🙂

I bought a length back from Scotland, still unused. Dearest’s is the Royal Stuart ~ wrong side of the blanket though so not sure how that works.

While we were in Scotland Dearest wanted to try some haggis [no idea what was in it]. I kept my mouth shut until after he’d said it was very nice. No way was I eating that!!!!

My grandfather left Scotland when he was 21 & never went back until he was in his nineties. Whenever anyone asked he had 2 words to say about Scotland: cold; wet. True. It is also very, very beautiful. Enjoy. Wish I was coming with you.
