A tiny stateroom to myself across the English Channel sounds like something I’d do in a heartbeat, Leah. I’d love to know more about that experience of yours. I am enjoying our cooler weather and gorgeous fall colors, yes. I hope your autumn is lovely too. xoxox

I’ve only ever crossed the English Channel on a ferry overnight, in a tiny stateroom. And you know what? That was fun, but probably long enough to be on a boat. Still, for the scenery this must be the only way to fly. I hope your gals liked the food. Bring them to RW for a little shopping sometime. Hoping to find time with my stationery this Sunday. Enjoy the beginning of Autumn.

You are in a boat more than most people, living on an island and having to get to the mainland, Ganeida! I’m glad your mom enjoyed her cruise….Alaska is breathtaking. xoxo

The boat slops more instead of just riding up & down. Mind you, I’m used to something a good deal smaller! 🙂 Oh, & my mum did the inside passage earlier this year & loved it! Her cruise did kayaking & hiking trips too. It looks wonderful.

The Western Caribbean was Michael’s and my first cruise, Nancy. We loved it. My life would look so much different had I not been afraid to fail at times. What foreign language would you like to learn? I’d love that too. You have a blessed week, dear Nancy… xoxo

Went on one cruise in 1998 with family to western carribean and it was a joy. Said we’d go again but never did.

This week going through materials from a seminar AARP gave which I attended called “Life Reimagined”. It’s on their website. Speaker asked at the beginning what would you do if you couldn’t fail? Interesting responses once fear of failure is removed. I’d like to learn a foreign language. Have a good week.

Linda, your description of your cruise made me smile. I like the thought of your upcoming trip much better. I love fall, so this sounds like something I would love. We love Tim Hawkins and Michael Jr. for comedy….I’m going to look up Brian Regan again. God bless you dear friend… xoxo

Makes me think we need to go back in September next time as we did not see whales breaching, bears munching, fields of wildflowers, huge butterflies landing…did see many tacky souvenir shops, some salmon floating around half dead at the end of their trek upstream, lots of biting nats & many cold gray days off our ships deck! Will be headed to Lancaster Pa this week for our last RV trip of the summer season where there will be acres of rolling hills of Amish farms, pumpkins galore, apple dumplings …apple/pumpkin everything and plenty of souvenir shops. No colored leaves here yet…next month… We will also see our favorite comedian, Brian Regan, at one of the theater shows there. (Look him up on YouTube …his comedy skits will lighten your heart I promise!) Would be a wonderful weekend trip for your ladies…if you lived near me?
