Thank you for what you shared Linda. Your “laughing with the Boobies” made me laugh and give thanks for them and you. Yes, the variety in His creation is awe-inspiring isn’t it? Xxoo

86 yr old mother as we sat on her bay/wetlands front home in Md viewing the marsh ducks & water birds through binoculars & up close & personal..
God has a way of getting our attention…how can anyone ignore the hugeness of His variations & colors of all created things!….As I viewed each picture here I became breathless w/awe & wonder & could not refrain from weeping in a quiet “God moment”….(after laughing @ the Boobies!)
Thank u 4 sharing some of God’s majestic creatures w/us Julie….

Ginny, I’m sitting here laughing my head off at your comment. And I can see Pete wrist dancing perfectly! But I thought we were the Big Blue Footed Boobies – maybe we’re long lost cousins or something. 🙂

The (BIG) Blue Footed Boobies!!! I am still laughing at their dance. This is how we would look if we were birds! And Peter already dances like that!!! We just didn’t know the origin! LOL!! And as he has advanced, he is also an accomplished “wrist dancer”… You stand in one spot, arms bent at the elbow, hands looking like the are turning a door handle to the beat of the music! He is a real live wire on the dance floor!!! Gotta submit this, I am about to wet my feathers… LOL!!!!!!

Oh Helen – I wish we had these birds here – we don’t! These are birds I found online from all over the world, from the Galapagos Islands to Australia. We have blue jays and red cardinals and yellow gold finches, but many of our birds are more drab too.

How come you got all the bright and pretty ones over there?

Lloyd, I have pondered that question countless times, as I know you have as well. I love to see what kind of deductions I can reasonably make about God just by looking at his creation. From looking at these very few birds I think He must LOVE color, love variety, have a sense of humor, and be very, very smart. 🙂 What do you think?

And fish, flowers, butterflies, insects, beasts–and people. every one with has its unique beauty, including people. Something to ponder.
