I’ve been on the Inside Passage Alaskan cruise too, Mariah. So breathtaking. I’m missing glacier temps right now. If you were here you could try out my new bike. xoxo

But yes, as you say…first world problems, at least the ones that happen concerning our gadgets! Enjoy your new goodies, whether purchased by choice or by necessity! I love your eagle pictures. I traveled to Alaska two summers ago, and the eagles abounded there! So beautiful. Alaska, and the eagles! We did a cruise of the inland waterways and I can’t recommend it enough. And it was a little cooler than 92 degrees! Especially near the glaciers! I’m intrigued by your ebike and have clicked your link. Going to go have a look now.

We went riding last night, Machelle, and saw quite a few people on ebikes. It removes limitations like hills, distance, fitness level, etc. Have a blessed week! xoxo

Two of my sons bought ebikes so they could pull their girls in carts behind and still have energy for the ride. It is so fun.

It is called Cathedral of the Pines and is a memorial to veterans. Beautiful site where many weddings take place. Outdoor altar overlooks Mt. Monadanock. https://www.cathedralofthepines.org/photo-gallery/

I would love to visit there Helen – how fascinating about your thesis! I would love to know what other series you recommend too. And the e-bike – what a game changer. You must want to pinch yourself as you ride that through the views of Switzerland! Hugs to you dear Helen… xoxo

I’m glad you like your ebike. I bought mine last year – its an e-mountain bike and it’s the best thing ever!! I ride it to work over the hills and far away when the weather is ok. And every single time I say to myself ‘this is quality of life’.We just got one for my husband too and now we head off on little adventures every weekend and sometimes in the evening after dinner as it is still light till late.
I’m glad to hear you are enjoying Shetland – a brilliant series. I wrote by BA thesis on Shetland a million years ago and wanted to go again since forever, and finally made it there on a knitting trip last summer. It was wonderful but I was only there for a week and I could have stayed so much longer. I have dreams of running away to a remote croft….maybe one day! Oh, and I also met the lady who knits Jummy Perez’s sweaters. Apparently he refused to have any lovely Fair Isle colour work!

It allows people to get together and even expands to people outside of community. My friend’s church is having services on zoom and have had people from other parts of the country log in.

The scenery is gorgeous, the accents understandable, & the characters nicely rounded. Be blessed. I am glad your bible study is still up & running.
