God has given us many things and I look at the “Fruits of the Spirit” where the seventh fruit is translated as faithfulness or faith. The fruit of faith is different in that it manifest confidence in the promises and the leadings of our Savior and our Father God. Faith with out works is dead and some times those works come through helping our family or loved ones, faith refers to the character of an individual who is reliable and consistent. and the ninth fruit of the Spirit is “self control.” I think that Paul put this last in his list of blessings of the Spirit to show that this fruit is not self control brought about by us humns but rather it has to be manifested by the Spirit of God. I believe that this fruit is the hardest to maintain (at least for me) and it is perhaps the hightes form of submission to God so that the Spirit of God has complete mastery over you and I and all believers. It is something that we have to remember as we to through life that God’s Spirit will always turn a disadvantage into an advantage for us if we will just let it. (Something to think about?)
