I was just going to say ‘What a lovely blog post, Julie’ – which it is – and then I read Ginny’s comment and it distracted me completely: English TOFFEE tea?! Whatever is that?

Everything stops for tea in our house at regular intervals :0)

My American son-in-law thinks the English are like the Japanese in a number of ways – the understanding of the life-enhancing necessity of making time for tea being maybe just one.
