When we limit God

November 30, 2015 | My Jottings

My daughter Sharon sent this four minute video to me this morning and it’s mind-blowing. I love stuff like this because it helps me remember how immense and powerful God is. I think my prayers sometimes reveal how I limit God in my mind.

I don’t understand all of this, but I get enough of it to marvel once again at His power and majesty, and even more, at His love.

I’d love to know your thoughts on this…

    Julie,

Thank you. When I see something like this, I have another means in my imagination to grasp the ONE who became incarnate. This is the ONE who became flesh. This is the ONE who submitted to the cross, who hears, who is THERE. And, as Steve testifies, this is the ONE who finds my hammer.

“What is man that you are mindful of him, that you visit him?”

  2. Just Julie says:

Yes, Diane. I have similar thoughts as Steve — this same God helps me find a lost document, not slip when walking on ice, hold my tongue, and a million other things. While He’s the source of all the power that holds these galaxies together. Gaahhh! xoxo

  3. Ganeida says:

Sorry, Julie. The link can’t have worked.

This is a ratio pattern found in everything from the shape of our ear, seashells & galaxies, sometimes called *The Thumbprint of God*. I don’t understand the math but I get the pattern.
