We used to have a queen sized bed til it got so bad it needed to GO. As we tried to figure out what we should replace it with, we realized that we had a perfectly good FULL size bed being stored so we hauled it upstairs and that is what we are currently sleeping on.

It’s not ideal. I spend every day of my life craving more personal space and a full size bed does not cater to that longing. =)

But it’s working and with a tight budget at this time it saved us a bunch of money!

BUT, on the rare occasion that we stay in a hotel, if there is a king size bed, I find it heavenly. And EVERY time, I make a point of demonstrating that I can lay all directions on a king size bed without head or feet going off the edge. I would say it’s a perk to being short but I don’t know if it’s really a perk. More like a quirk. =)

I think pushing the two beds together is just how it should be, Kay! And we did not dress as comfortably as you pictured us, although that made me laugh today and I thank you for that, Kay! Michael in curlers is something I’d really like to see… Have a wonderful weekend….

Because of Alan’s disability, we have a three foot bed each – should Alan need carers visiting, they would insist on Alan being in a single bed. But, (big indiscretion coming now!), we have pushed them together and laid a king-size topper over the pair of them! However we don’t share our bed with any pets – Mario our cat would be too much of a pain!
Did you go suitably attired when looking for your new bed? I have visions of you both in your pyjamas, dressing gowns, slippers and curlers (Michael of course in the curlers, not you dear Julie!:))
