Knitters for Newtown
December 19, 2012 | My Jottings
Most people would like to do something for the families of Newtown, Connecticut. If you need an idea, or know someone you think would like to participate in this, please point them to Knitters for Newtown.
My daughter Sharon owns Three Irish Girls yarn company, and she decided to do something. She admits it won’t fix anything for the families whose loved ones have been taken from them, but it’s something. And as her mama, I am proud of her for doing this.
Click here to see what you think, and perhaps pass it on to some knitters (or givers) you know.
And here’s the Facebook page.
Thank you, and God bless you all…

Sharon is an amazing woman….her leadership, compassion & uniqueness of creativity declare her Father God’s glory! Will definitely spread the word for this heartfelt endeavor for the Newtown families.
Thank you Linda! Yes, pass it on to others who might wish to participate. xxoo
Julie, what an inspiring thing for Sharon to do. You must be so proud of her. The yarns are beautiful but even more beautiful is the heart behind it.
Thank you dear Pat. That gives me the “ohhhs”….. xxoo
What a great idea. Pity my knitting’s terrible. I will however go like her FB page & pass it along!
Thank you very much Ganeida!! xxoo
