Dear Julie,

I am just catching up on your writings and must comment on the best information I can pass on to my daughter as she is a single mom doing her best and loving the Lord. My daughter has helped me to spend more time in the Bible which has been difficult for me since your dad went home to be with The Lord.
God whispered in my ear last night to go and change the flowers on your dad's gravesite. It is something that is only important to me but it is also honoring God to do what He says. I know your father is not there but for me it is to respect the life and death process. Thanks again Julie, you will never know how much you inspire and reach people through your words. Love, Dorothy

After having spent the past three days on fire watch at my home in Yucaipa, CA, these words resonate in me. Thank you Julie for sharing this quote at this time. God blessed me in so very many ways through this experience (I have done this "watch" many times since I lived in the CA mountains for 20+ years). Each and every blessing was through the touch of human connection. Some connections formed many years ago through divine appointments. God is truly amazing and I never cease to be awestruck, not only by His magnificent power, but mostly His deep desire to be drawn into the very details of our existence. I would like to pose a challenge to each and every one of us to draw Him in this week to just one area of our lives where we have previously prevented Him from entering. Then, open the eyes of your heart to the wonder of it all. You may just be awestruck!
